Import export is a basic mantra in which any goods export or import from one country to another country, that service is called import-export.

There are two types of import and export

What is import? Import is a process in which any country buys or imports any item or product.

Through which the shortage of that country can be fulfilled and the need for that item can be fulfilled.

Exp: Suppose India sends any goods to them, it is called export.

What is Export?

Export is the opposite of import, where a country can sell its goods to a country that has a significant need, thereby increasing its imports.

Exp:- India buys any goods from it which are very important in India, the rush to buy that is called import.

There are many benefits of import-export, such as any country’s economic benefits and GDP growth, and there are many other great benefits.

  • While exporting, our country gets foreign currency, which makes the economy strong.

  • Increase in employment opportunities in your country.
  • When demand increases, the company grows and when the company grows, the country grows.

Both import and export have their own advantages.

  • Countries trade with each other, which improves their relations.
  • Importing and exporting goods from outside creates competition in the market, which keeps prices stable.
  • Due to competition, companies keep improving the quality of their products and use good quality materials.

Which documents are required for import export?

  • IEC code is required for import-export, without it you cannot import or export
  • GAST Registration The business has to be registered under Goods & Services Tax (GAST).
  • It is important to have a bank account as a current account supported by international transactions is required for import-export.
  • Shipping & logistics documents are also required, without them you cannot import or export.
  • Customs clearance documents are also necessary as customs clearance is the only way to get your product out of customs.
